All told, organizations serving local citizens, such as the YMCA, Salvation Army and the Hughen Center, will collectively receive $20,000 from Flint Hills Resources in December in support of holiday outreach programs for adults and children.

"We want to give back and make a difference in Port Arthur and Southeast Texas,” Jeff Tilley, Flint Hills Resources plant manager, said. “Supporting those in need and educating youth are part of our community focus.”

Norma Sampson, said, “We are extremely appreciative to receive this gift and deeply grateful for everyone’s generosity. Flint Hills Resources’ holiday gift will make a tremendous difference in our program services by helping to make available free breast and prostate cancer screenings and access to treatment.”
