The Georgia-Pacific Foundation sponsors teachers to attend “Creeks to Coast,” an interactive workshop led by Georgia Aquarium that gives them the tools to effectively teach students about environmental and watershed issues. The 7-day workshop explores the Chattahoochee River system from Georgia to Florida, and based on their experience, teachers commit to implementing lesson plans in their classrooms.
