Environmental Initiative completed its successful school bus retrofit program – Project Green Fleet – and began a major new initiative to reduce emissions from Minnesota’s diesel-powered construction vehicles. A founding partner of Project Green Fleet, Flint Hills Resources recently donated $1 million to allow Environmental Initiative to complete retrofits of the final school buses and to build the foundation for improving diesel construction vehicles statewide.
